Vision

Our vision is to promote an inclusive and positive environment where wounded, ill and injured service members of all service branches, active duty and veteran, as well as their immediate family can recover and get involved in the community.

We continually adapt our programs to meet the ever-changing needs of those we serve.

Adaptive Cycling

Began in 2005 and was our first adaptive sport program created. Now we offer a multitude of bicycles.

Indoor/Outdoor Adaptive water sports providing therapeutic and recreational activities.

Sled Hockey

The San Antonio Rampage sled hockey team was formed in 2007 with the help of the American Hockey League (AHL), and the San Antonio Rampage.

Woodworking

Provides opportunities to work with your hands and be creative while improving fine motor and gross motor skills in a non-clinical setting.

Adaptive Yoga

Began in 2016, but recently started offering chair yoga in 2018 with the VA Recreation Therapy partners to support the Whole Health Initiative.
