Woodworking provides opportunities to work with your hands and be creative while improving fine motor and gross motor skills in a non-clinical setting. We have a large variety of woodworking projects you can build and customize. This program is run by 2 wounded Veterans that are Texas Veteran Commission certified Peer Mentors. Both Chris and Vic have studied under a Master Woodworker.

 
 

What you build is up to you. There is an idea book at the shop, different kits, or you can design a project of your own. Projects include but are not limited to desks, signs, flags, shelves, coin boxes and even a cradle for a new grandchild! The options are endless!

 
 

Our woodworking staff work directly with therapists from Audie Murphy VA and Center For the Intrepid to assist Veterans in reaching their individual goals.
